The photography challenge is designed for both individuals and groups to participate in. Over the course of several weeks, there will be three distinct themes for participants to capture in their photographs.
The first two rounds of the challenge will be open to all individuals, with participants encouraged to post their photographs using the designated hashtag. At the end of each round, awards will be given to the top photographs as chosen by the judges. Additionally, participating teams will also be able to submit photographs to be awarded points during these rounds, with six photographs from each team being selected for judging.
The final round of the challenge will be exclusively for groups participating in the challenge. In this round, each group will be tasked with capturing a specific theme and will select six photographs from their members to be judged. Only those competing in the group challenge will be eligible to participate in this round and be considered for the final awards.
The Challenge: Round 1
Take an image that represents a place you might watch a movie.
Picture Rules:
- Your picture must represent the theme of a place you might watch a movie.
- Your picture may be taken inside or outside.
- The image must have been taken from the start date of the challenge, not before.
- Your picture must have a title.
- Your picture must not be manipulated by adding parts that were not on the original image.
- You may use editing software to change contrast, exposure, white balance etc.
Posting Rules:
- You must post the picture to your own account.
- You must message me on Instagram for the challenge hashtag;
- If you are in a challenge group you do not need to message me.
- You do not need to message me or tag me in your challenge post.
- Do not send the picture to me directly.
- Round 1 starts, 12:00pm EST Thursday May 4th 2023.
- Round 1 ends at 12:00pm EST Tuesday May 23rd 2023.
- You may only enter one picture to the challenge
- No Carousels
- No Galleries
- Your entry will not count for the challenge if you have posted more than one image.
- You must be part of a Challenge Group for your picture to be accepted in the challenge
The organizer reserves the right to decline any picture for the challenge.

During the challenge period, you have the option to change your image for a different one. However, it is important to keep in mind that once the challenge period is over, this option will no longer be available. Therefore, it is important to carefully consider your decision before making any changes.
If you are considering swapping out your image for a better one, it is recommended to hold off on posting until you are confident that you have captured your best shot. With nearly three weeks to take and post one image, there is ample time to find the perfect picture. It is important to remember to use this time wisely and to put in your best effort to capture an image that truly showcases your skills.
Winners:
For Rounds one and two
- Two Choices will be made.
- Each of the two choices will be given a picture shout.
- The winner will get a picture and a story shout.
For Round three – Group:
- The winning group will select 3 accounts for a shout.
- Each account will get a picture
- One nominated account will get a picture and a story shout.
- My decisions are final, no appeals.
- If you do not follow the rules your picture will not count.

Over the years, we have successfully organized and executed hundreds of challenges, with thousands of Instagram users participating. Despite the limited time frame for capturing and submitting photographs, there is ample opportunity for everyone to participate and showcase their skills.
Participating in our challenges not only provides a fun and engaging experience, but also leads to an increase in engagement from real and interested Instagram users. Additionally, new participants can expect to gain additional followers simply by getting involved and making the challenge more personal.
We also offer the option to join a group for those interested in participating with others. We encourage you to give it a try, as you may be surprised at the positive results. And of course, if it’s not for you, there’s no pressure to participate in future challenges.
